Dubai
Video production for Dubai
We make launch films, video ads and brand films for startups and brands in Dubai, written in English, in Arabic, or in both.
English and Arabic, written as one
A campaign for the region often needs both languages. We work in English, French, Arabic and Spanish, so the Arabic version is written for its audience rather than translated at the end.
How a Dubai shoot works
Commercial filming in Dubai is licensed by the Dubai Film and TV Commission. Permits are applied for through a UAE-licensed production house, and the script is approved before the permit is issued. That approval takes time, so we put it at the start of the schedule in the proposal, before locations and crew.
Working with us from Dubai
Fikra is based in San Francisco and Paris. Calls and reviews happen remotely, and where and how we shoot is set out in the proposal, with nothing booked until you approve it.
